I haven’t posted anything lately because I’ve been using all of my free time this last month (well, much of it) on completing my drawing for the Writers of the Future vol. 28.

As of today, I can say, I’ve finished it. And it doesn’t look too bad. Of course I can’t post any image of it until after the ceremony and the book’s release, but I will say that I think it’s as good as my finalist-winning illustrations. That said, my biggest worry this month has been the fear of making a fool of myself on the “international science fiction/fantasy stage.” Looking at the finished drawing . . . I don’t believe I have.

Whew!

Now, hopefully, I’ll be able to relax a little on that front and start stressing over the upcoming flight to California (April), the week-long workshop, meeting some of my favorite artists/writers, making a speech in front of those same people, etc.
